Gaiters - opinion on these before I import

    Made in Ukraine
    Called "Snow Gaiters" over there
The Vid is piss poor - could have shown the Zip/Velcro better
I have Black Diamond at the moment with Velcro up front - but these with zip then velcro flap over, I think be real good

What do you think they would weight (a set)
Come in Med - Large and X Large

Need to make decision tonight to order (will get a pair for self for sure)
Depending on weight (re shipping as its gone crazy mad $ wise)
Hope to be priced $70-80-ish ?

    They look good.

Will they make me go faster because they are Russian (rush'n).

(yes, yes, I know Ukraine gained its independence in 1991)

Where the under wire is attached - I would hope there would be a cord inside where it is riveted - so rivet is over that cord (think that made sense

yes only thing I would say is would hope there is webbing through that part so rivet goes through the webbing and not just the folded inner and outer of the gaiter itself

Who leaves those wires on anyway? I always cut them off and if the elastic gusset is strong enough they don't creep up - and if Im in snow and do need to tie them I just use para cord.

That's what I was meaning above - hope there some extra reinforcement in there for rivet to go over top of
BUT - my expensive Black Diamond just have strap (not wire) stitched onto inside
That heel/tread loop actually dose not get a lot of tension ah - I think

My Huntech ones that I had way back when those boys 1st started Huntech - the cord would wear out so just kept replacing it and like you sometimes had nothing
Depending on the boot too - I think I prefer it there - wire better as it limit heel grip so much

I'll give a pair of Med Blacks a go. As my legs are nowhere as long or slender(what?) as 223nut
