hey tried on some boots today- H&F have HE Echos on Sale for $120- had a wear around

Went to GC- they had Highlanders for $150- light as a feather- gore tex, felt like they lacked the support in ankles i kind of need due to my ankles..

tried on the HE Lima an wore around, Got a bit of a discounted price off RRP and think il head back Sunday to buy those- look like they'll do what im after- felt stiffer all over an in the ankle section.

Hey guys that have the talan boots, how do you rate them? I'm looking at getting my first pair and for $150 they're hard to pass up. Also would the mid season be too hot for summer? Or am I better off getting the summer boots, then a winter pair later in the year? Cheers.
All I want to do is to turn deer, into poop.

I've tried a few different boots now. Some in the $500 range. They all seem to kill my feet on long ascent up steep hills. Only seem to have luck with skellerup Ashley's or boonies kaimais. Using the boonies atm no sore feet or blisters yet.

I’ve got the mid season ones, fine for summer.
Bloody comfortable, I’m happy with them.

He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

+1 here for the dollars they work good, Not an Alpine boot but not recommended for that anyway
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.
