My S/C Shooters jacket got replaced earlier this year. It's still a good jacket but technology has moved on and there are lighter, smaller available.
I looked at the Glasinock, and yes it is very small and very lightweight but to get there the material looked very thin. As I spend a lot of time pushing through bush and matagouri I went for the S/C Tahr jacket. It's a (slightly) heavier jacket and packs down (slightly) bigger than the Glaisnock but I think I'll get more life out of it. It's not the soft camo material but I found that held water and made the jacket weigh more anyway and took longer to dry out. I also like the taped seams.
Hope that helps...
