Thread: Kuiu shipping prices

I probably came across as a moaning arsehole in the first post of this thread but here's what got me started.

I was staying at a mates place when the conformation e-mail came through & he commented that $46 was a rip off as he regularly buys in footwear from the States and shipping is either free or $10 max, so this was the main reason for posting and I should of worded it " Is $46 US good market value" for shipping costs.
Now regarding what my mate said, thinking about it he is most probably buying from retail shops that can subsidise the shipping into the purchase price.

Re -Kuiu, I didn't want this turning into a thread about whether it's good gear or their selling model will work in NZ or not.
Shaun was good enough to contact me and we have sorted it out the confusion, It was a busy weekend at the Sika show & I probably wasn't listening properly & I'm sure they will Improve their system re- checking stock supply, quoting etc.

I hope their business does well and I will probably buy more gear in the future, buying direct is how Kuiu runs things so I'll just have to get use to it, but having someone in NZ to deal with works better for me as I'm a very hands on sort of consumer.
