About LinkBacksI've got a Mapcpac Cascade 90 that I bought when I was about 24. In the time I've had it I've replaced the shoulder straps and had the lumbar pad re-padded. It has no rips in the fabric even the base wasn't worn through. I'm 41 now so thats 17 years of fairly heavy use. I'm kinda hoping something will break on it soon so I've got an excuse to buy the new one.
Yeah the made in "New Zealand *not*" issue annoys me too. I wish they provided work for New Zealanders rather than offshore industries but from looking at their new ones and what I've heard from other users they've kept the quality control up at least.
