    Merino Gloves

Have been using some macpac merino liner gloves for my last few hunts this winter, bloody awesome, get soaking wet in the snow and rain and hands stay warm...but..lasted 4 days hunting and fall apart. Instead if buying 10 pairs a year of these, does anyone know of any merino gloves that are made to last longer, maybe merino lined and a stronger outer? Keen to know what people are using. Also these are not my main gloves but i wear them a lot more as they are not bulky, light and can still shoot in them if needed. Cheers.

Just ordered some icebreaker merino gloves that have a nylon outer so will see how they hold up. Cheers

Merino Macpac and icebreaker worked well for me but didn't last very well. Finger tips wore through rapidly, expescially on rocky areas when touching rock often.
Using Outdoor Research now. Not merino (but feel like it) and much tougher. Don't laugh but for lightweight extra warmth put on pair of dish wash gloves over the top. Stops the wind and holds warmth in. It's a trick I learn adventure racing.

they usually have some good deals especially on "seconds" which generally means wrong colour stitching or maybe a not straight seam. i picked up long john and a long sleeved shirt for $20 the lot a few years back purely as the red fabric was sewn together with yellow thread. hell its underwear so who cares !!!
