Having 2 on each it locks them so they don't slide. There's a fair bit of room in them. One has my range finder, ammo etc, other my PLB headtorch, knife etc.

Sorry late post... Which ones are they exactly? And how did they attach? Has the cactus got molle attachments?

No worries. Is the small ones. Only used one on each pouch. I used it to stop the pouch sliding forward as such. The pack has a wide 50mm strap, not molle. I have attached photos best I can to show. They also come with 2 attached webbing strips. I have used this set up alot and haven't adjusted them once. I carry my PLB rangefinder ammo head torch etc in them
