What slings are we all using? I have a few and find them all a pain in the arse. I often hunt the bush without it on but nice to throw on for the walk out etc.

Ones I have slip off the shoulder, one has a pissy little loop that cant even fit my pinky in, figured the loop could be handy to rest a hand or hook a thumb in when walking.

Don't know what I am missing to be fair, not much of a sling person. Also not interested in some heavy or tachticool version either.

not a sling man but I do carry one for use on quads and horses - one sits in buffalo bag ready for use - I have two Uncle Mikes mountain slings - light around an inch wide - easily adjustable - tough and well made - totally recommend - but I understand they are not under that name anymore but still made by another company

The bushbuck one is well priced (on sale which are every 6 days or so) and well made and is neoprene.
