Thread: Sleeping Bag Q's

Hi all, been a while. Been busy .

The last piece of light/ultralight gear I need is a good sleeping bag. Been making do with a typical synthetic that's not even that good at 10 degrees fully clothed.

Requirements - large(ish) and long. I'm 6ft 2 and like my room. Not exactly a sprawling sleeper but I've never tried a tight fitting mummy bag so I don't know how I'd go.

Mummy suggestions are ok as long as there's some leg room and your feet don't have to be ridiculously close together.

Would like something comfortable down to freezing. Will a zero degree bag be ok in -5 if you wear clothes? I'm a warm sleeper and have an Exped downmat and a Tarptent.

As light and compressible as possible. Willing to sacrifice a bit here obviously, due to not wanting a super tight fit.

So, what are people's suggestions? Any other guys out there around my size that have found a nice light 3/4 season bag that is comfy?
