Stoney Creek Mohaka 40+10 and Bushbuck Horizon 8000

With the black Friday sales coming up I was thinking of buying these two products. Was wondering if anyone has had first hand experience with them and what are the pros and cons on both. Cheers

The bush buck tent is a re branded nature hike mongar off AliExpress. They are good tents for the money but if buying from bushbuck, they need to have a big sale to make it worth buying from them rather than Ali express.

I haven’t had a Stoney creek Mohaka, but the couple of stoney creek packs I have had that have been similar, I have not liked at all.
In the same price range there are a lot of better options. Tatonka norix 48 would be one

Cheers for that. What exactly put you of the Mohaka? I have tried the Tatonka and it just did not fit well

They are ridiculously good tents for the money. I bought the 15d fly version. 1.3kg fly, poles and groundsheet.

The stoney creek packs I’ve had have had bugger all support through the back and have given me real sore shoulders because of the fit. The newer mohaka packs may be different tho. I see osprey packs are on sale at gear shop too which would be another option
