you used to be able to buy camo fabric coated PVC coats stoney creek (I think) used to do one called a duck coat. They were a good cheap bashproof jacket of a good length, they were not shiny like normal PVC due to the fabric coating (vinyl coated polyester). The american company Hodgeman also used to produce camo gear in this fabric. The trouble is now all coats are made out of some fancy breathable membrane stuff with some hyperbullshit techy name and most of the cheap stuff is crap, and locally marketed cheap shit starts at around 200 bucks. You could hang the fabric coated PVC stuff on the fence and hit it with the water blaster, sure you might get a bit sweaty under it but it was actually waterproof. I have googled looking for something like this a while back but failed to find anything. The other option, those super cheap PVC rain suits are just PVC and in the interest of mobility I guess are lightweight and soft and do not hold up to the bash. When it gets wet that shit shines and so is useless for the ducks. Also the yanks generally design coats that are too short they don't go down over your arse so you end up with a wet arse.
If anyone knows of a source of a good cheap non shiny coated PVC camo coat of a decent length please post up a link.
