Thread: 410 AMMO

strangley enough none of my .410s really shone with 6s....each gun is different. Bill Axbey in his book "the bird hunters" sings praises of on open choked gun using #8s....at the sub 25yard range where the wee gun shines it makes sense.
winchester sell a good clay target load of #9s that would do at a pinch....as said earlier be aware there are 2 1/2" shells with LESS than half n oz of shot in them....
