    Orthotics and gumboots

    What gumboots have you guys found that work with orthotics.
    My feet would sure appreciate your help. I get we are all different but for the life of me I cannot find a combo that works.
    Tried 4x4s, Quatros, muck boots.....

    Most gumboots I find are to high in the arch for me.
    Think I need flatter

    bog std skellerups either high perth or short redbands....ashley laceups work with them too
    75/15/10 black powder matters

    redbands..just under hundy..perth just over hundy..4x4 hundy n half grubs two hundy......bought new perths today at farmsource .
    75/15/10 black powder matters

    I've got them in redbands because I have a high arch, so better support plus added insulation.

    One of the issues with gumboots is the lack of security for your foot - this can create a few different issues as you foot can slide around on whatever you have fitted inside the boot and it can make any problems you have with your feet really go nup - flat nup.

    Also some gumboots have soles that aren't the most supportive/flexible/etc etc so the main issue is getting a gumboot that has the support in the right place for your issue and stays put in the right place for your foot...

    You really need to get a boot/shoe/sole set up for your foot and then go back to the shops and try boots to see what works with your foot needs. It's a bit like asking what the sound blue tastes like, you'll get a lot of answers but until you try them you won't know what is the right answer for you...
