Thread: The other white meat

I took Dash up to Maungatawhiri yesterday, to give him a run in the open without pine trees to get in the way of seeing what he is up to.

Unfortunately the charger for his collar shat itself, so it was all old school - whistling and bad language.

He did pretty well though, and while no roosters came home, we did get a couple of birds to hold to the point.

Well done Dash.

He got a wash in a creek before he got back in the car - that dog is a dirt magnet.

Tasty birds there,well done.

The bird he is pointing is in a clump of grass at the right of the photo - I was so busy taking the photo it nearly didn't get shot...
