Touched up my Tanglefree decoys I have from last season. Took a drake into Mitre10 and they paint matched most colours.

I will write up the colours I used for intrest sake.

I waterblasted the decoys and lost most of the green and grey off of the drakes, touched up the hens

    What ya reckon?

busted, Yes these are stock GHG paint jobs Ive added the paint on the top and around the tail.
But you can do the same to old decoys reading the article.

I have just painted according to Pauls article and I have a few questions.

Does the white stripe on the neck of the drakes go around the back as well?
I painted a small white triangle on the back of the drakes by the leg as per the instructions. The factory paint has the white on the tip of the tail feathers. Any thoughts on which one is better?

You would paint the ring right the way around for a active pose.
as for the tails, it wont hurt either way, less white the better in my opinion.
and if you're doing a few dozen, its easier not to do it.

Ok, that makes sense, thanks. Wouldn't the last two in your photos be actives and therefore have the ring right round?
