many here forget that f&g used to do exactly that here in some regions to boost bird numbers until it became ''uneconomic'
they flushed as wild as any wild bird from what i saw on the vid and certainly bear no resemblence to ''planted'' stateside preserve birds.
you havent lived untill you.ve had a wild pheasant flush 3 feet in front of your gsp,s nose cackling the whole way up or from a bush you wouldnt think would hold a sparrow via a flushing dog.
I know what you mean, the cover is so tight in this place that quite often the dogs & hunters have to almost step on the birds to flush them.
