    Rooster pheasant with leg tag band...

    found the remains of what would have been a very nice rooster this morning...has got a leg band...return to DOC...looks like he had been eaten by a cat, certainly not a dog...28 bar tail...

    all my duck bands are return DOC, just how they are stamped DOC wont of banded the rooster

    So if DOC doesnt band them why would the tags be sent to them and not Fish and Game...

    pretty sure DOC are the only ones to officially band wild birds fish and game manage the game birds within that

    you dont have to send game bird tags in to Doc you can just ring them in to fng

    I shot a hawk that had a leg band but i never bothered to follow through with finding out about it.
