Bought a new rod and reel

I treated myself and spent more money on a trout rod and reel this weekend than I've ever done
I'm sure this will guarantee me spectacular sized trout and a multitude of them as surely this is the way it goes, Surely?

Looked at the rod here in town $350.00 and the bloke wouldn't move so found it on line 100$ cheaper, got their last one on Saturday

    Mated it with this

Now to keep the pup away from it as he bit the top half of my last one into three pieces.

I'd like to thank Wildman and Gimp, Not, [I mean a simple google can't do any harm, can it?] for mentioning the Marine Deals place, an outfit I'd never heard of untill spending the previous weekend shooting with these characters.

He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

Yes, spending wads of cash at the retailers will make you a better hunter/fisherman... so the retailers tell us.

When you stop using your gear, sell it here to us lot at bargain basement price.

Na.....its the old too many hobbies thing, not enough time spent on any of them so no good at any of them.
