    A trip to bangoville

Hey folks!! As many of you know we’re neck deep in moving to NZ. Nelson area. As many of you also know I’m a fish biologist and a reasonably respectable walleye tournament fisherdude. Walleye would be like Zander for your European buddies but a little smaller. My final fishing party…3 days with two of my best buddies and my fishin “pop” who’s watched me grow up. Anyways…we went to bangoville!!! Enjoy.

They're the best!! White meat, fried it's about as heavy as popcorn so you never really have to stop eating. We put anything over 5# or so back. We got a bunch over 10# and our biggest was 14!!

Nice fish. Looks like they would put up a good fight. Big propeller on them.

Bangoville is a term used by yours truly meaning to... put a little bango on the fish. However going to bangoville on em means you caught the shit outta em!!! It's my word and I'm bringing it to NZ with me and hopefully I use it at some point.
@Shearer, they don't fight worth a piss because our water is 2 degrees and they're just sitting there in the slack water waiting to spawn when water temp hits 10 degrees in a couple weeks.

Is it pronounced as in "big bang" or " squeal like a pig"? Also fresh water or salr?
