Thread: Trip up the coast surf casting

Hey chris after I seen these pics i rememberd when i lived in aus I was always a soft plastic and hard boddied lure fisho,but another mate over there asked me to go surfcasting with him once on Sydney's palm beach(home and ways beach) which I had done piss all of but I went along.He new I was soft plastic mad so we used 10ft rods braided and 6 inch storm shads U heard of them?,any way we just looked for deep gutters and cast to the shoreline side of them and got hammerd buy kahawai(Salmon) and flatheads buy feeding the line out so it just slid into the gutter with the waves.We had a ball and I must try it again over here.Hve you done any of that?
