    Youshop USA to NZ

Interested in peoples experiences with this.
I am thinking of signing up. Worth it, any tips?

Rapid raft is on special this month but no shipping to NZ. I sent them an email and they suggested a freight forwarding co.
@whanahuia not sure if your looking to replace your mates one but if so they are $100US off atm

I’ve looked at doing it before but was quite expensive I’d say it will be over $150 to ship the rapid raft

Used to be good. Now too expensive to make the extra hassle worthwhile.

    Cheers @Jaslarz
    MyUS worked seamlessly.

Joined up for the single package, no consolidation FREE membership.

    Used the address they provided.

Selected the option "I will pay my own tax and duty" and chose fedex shipping for the door to door tracking. The cheapest option didn't seem to include tracking.

Raft arrived at MyUS oct 4th.
I recieved photos and an invoice on the 6th. Cost was inline with what their shipping calculater had suggested.
    Raft shipped on the 7th
    Arrived 15th Rural delivery.
Easy to track the whole way.

Definitely heaps cheaper than what youshop looked like it would have been.
    No complaints

Having just been served by you shop to the tune of $680 for a 3kg package from the UK, I most definitely wouldn't recommend them now. They used to be good but just lately they are taking the proverbial AND they are collecting GST on packages below the NZ Customs Duty & GST trigger amount. When questioned about the GST I was told "It's in the terms and conditions" I'm thinking that NZ Post are clipping the ticket where they shouldn't be....on top of gouging on freight

@Zedrex when i joined MyUS they actually provided me with two addresses. One for shipping ex USA and one for shipping ex UK.

I can't comment on shipping ex UK but my package was a 5inch square box, 18inches long and weighed 5.5pound.
    Cost was US$ 54.61 shipping + US$ 7 insurance. Which i though was reasonable !

The item value was under the threshold for duty and tax so nothing was paid.

I think you will find that NZ Post consolidate packages from the USA to NZ and the UK to NZ, once they reach NZ they are shipped individually.
This is why they charge GST because the consolidated packages, for shipping from one country to another, are over the GST threshold, but this is also why the shipping is cheaper than getting it sent direct.

Yes NZ Post has seemed to change a number of things, can only consolidate 3 parcels, and prices have increased substantially.

I've learnt that Aliexpress sellers can't ship items to NZ that are longer than 1050mm now, previously they did.

My USA was comparable in price to NZ Post (not sure about now), and if you "upgrade" your membership so you can consolidate parcels you get charged a fee every month, or part month if you "downgrade" so you can't consolidate. That fee was getting quite expensive, and they automatically charge your provided payment option, even after downgrading.
