About LinkBacksFrom what I've seen from my 416 rem.mag with 350gr barnes at slower speed around the 2000fps mark it seems to work well. If it was something that mushroomed at that speed i can see how they liked it.
Mind you speed them up to 2500fps and you have something with 5000ftlb of energy and if it hits something solid it will hurt bigtime
