Size: 3.50 MBI thought I would post this up to show the effectiveness of this monolithic copper projectile at range.
This stag taken at 560 yards was a clean kill.
Entry hole in lower brisket after going though crease in shoulder. Stag front on and up hill shot

He was on his feet for 5 seconds after the shot, went 2 or 3 meters and fell over.

Great vid. Brutal. Issue are the Hunters better than the Absolutes? Looking at that vid it is an unnecessary debate. LOL.

Funny you say that. I have had the same internal conversation/ debate.
My understanding is that you will get slightly more fps with the absolute hammers. I'm guessing 150 fps more.
On the flip side the Tipped Hammer Hunter has a better BC and a lower impact velocity threshold, 1700 vs 1800fps.
But.... my load hits the 1800 fps at 750 yards which is further than I would take a shot at a trophy and with dial up scope the BC of a projectile is irrelevant.
My load with the hammer hunter will group with 3 rounds touching at 300 yards so that really doesn't get much better!

    Great video & result

    Hammer projectiles are awesome

The Absolute's give amazing velocities in the right size case

The HHT's are ridiculously accurate in the rifles I've shot them through so far

No. I use them in 3 different rifles and calibers. All shoot well.

Poor video clarity here in Bali but looks a decent head shape, did you give it a measure?
