    7prc new buid

Picked up the new rifle on saturday and headed upto brads to get it all sighted in.
Its build on a Pierce shadow action with a triggertech trigger and rings that all came from Cam at Alpine pression
20" bartlein 2B Barrel, metal work and stocky vertical hunter stock from greg who got it all coated & put together and shooting.
Its topped off with a pod Vx5
    Dpt can with stainless baffle
    Blacklanz bipod

Very happy with how it all went, currently running hornady factory ammo at a very underwhelming 2700ish fps but groups very well
Going to get my hands on some federal premium 175eldx when it arrives, quite a few on the american forums have found it to be 150fps faster then hornady.
Got home and realised i had 2 batchers of ammo but only shot one the 3443 shot these groups.

    Cheers Jay
Came in just under 4kg on gregs shipping scales, I should chuck it on my kitchen scales sometime, probably shave off 500g or so

I know the reason for PRCs are to shoot heavies but it would be cool to shoot 140 hammers or 168bergers at warp speed in one of these.

I think I’ll probably end up putting a short barrel 7mm together to give it a go

Was feeling rusty and it showed. I normally shoot just fine with recoil. but i haven't done a lot of shooting of late and couldn't keep it together.

just shows how you need to keep practicing to keep good.

Will try it on a Harris bipod instead of my backlanz and see if that helps keep the front down a little and will get a dpt baffle brake for on the range and report back in a few weeks.
Next will be to switch up scopes and add a little more weight that way.

Overall i am bloody stoked, just wish i could get out and shoot every other weekend like the good old days.

Also my New Action from Cam at Alpine Precision has arrived so will start a new build when I'm back from the USA.
