Thread: Factory/Factory 223 Accuracy Challenge

Fortunately I'm also one of the plebs that has a 1-12 factory rifle, and today I had a bit of time to spare after the rain and before the bloody Nor'wester really got up. Thought i'd give this 10 round thing a bit of a crack to see what I could do. So trundled on down to the range and sent 10 Fiocchi 55gn Polymer tipped boolits downrange, a bit of a breeze coming in left to right, 1/2-3/4 value. And this is what I got

Thats a 10 round group, no prep, no dialing, no offset, just went out and shot it. Havent fired the rifle for maybe a year. 28mm group at 100 metres - thats .289 mil if Im correct, or under 1 moa.

Good to see the 1:12s getting involved. Next time I get to range I'll put one of this fiochi through my 700 and post up my results
