There's no way to get something completely theft proof, If they've targeted your place specifically for firearms they'll be prepared.
A good alarm system with camera's is the best bet in my opinion
In suggesting thick timber I had the idea of keeping the cost sensible. What you have said ' targeted your place specifically for firearms they'll be prepared' makes me feel a bit sick inside because.... you are quite right Steve. I have been imagining an opportunistic bunch rocking up and finding a gun safe but that is not reality. Reality is that someone could sneak in and 'case out' what they need a week or two in advance. In fact a couple of years ago a mate died suddenly after surgery. His gun safe was emptied the day the death notice was published and only the two Blasers taken ( not the Marlin) before he was even in the ground. What's the rules here on putting novachok on some cheap guns in a second but obvious safe ?? We could just blame the Russians afterwards.
chainsaw, Steve123 and Paddy79 like this.
