Thread: My Ruger 10/22 LR project

I love my 10/22. It's accurate enough to about 75m with subs. I don't really bother with high velocity with it, sorta defeats the point in my view.

1" at 100yds is good for a 10/22. What ammo?

For mine I got a Volquartsen Trigger Kit and KIDD Bolt Buffer and Cocking Assembly.

10/22's are known for being pretty temperamental at cycling
subs, and I did have that problem once every few mags, but it went away completely with the KIDD parts.

By far the best thing I did was buying a nice stock. I went with a Boyd's SS Evolution. I thought it looked a bit wacky but damn, soon as I held it - what a difference! Makes it a pleasure to shoot offhand.

If I was doing it all over again I might go with a CZ for the accuracy, but I do love a semi.
