Got a vizsla and a viz/lab/something that's just moving into retirement. We had a goat that spent its younger years with the dogs and brought the sheep up from the back paddock for us. Pretty hard case. No bark so relied on its horns to get them moving which wasn't always ideal...

He hasn't been out on them much lately but does really well, good on goats too. Have had him on goats, chamois, tahr, deer and birds. Changes style to suit the hunt quite easily just gets cold if we sit around too long , more of an active worker

    Yep.

That would have been in my safe for that price.

I paid $600 for a mint BRNO ZKK 601 in .308 all scoped up with ammo, brass, projectiles powder and dies a couple of years ago.

Was all I could do to stop grinning from ear to ear while I was paying the man.

    Cheers

My second rifle was a PH Safari 30.06 - but I got sick of the timber under the barrel warping when it got wet - but I guess there are dud pieces of timber in any brand of rifle
I upgraded to a Bruno 270 and still use it on reds - the set trigger is superb for longer shots - adjust it to however sensitive you desire - touch it and rarely miss
If you buy Bruno make sure you get one with a set trigger
But hard to go past a Tikka T3 goatcommander - I love mine in 243 for fallow
