One of the cheytac derrivatives from memory. Red used the savage. Had scoring hits out to one mile. Was a good weekend. Loved the cross country navigate/shoot day

Nice ! According to iStrelok, for the target at 3,600 yards / 3,290m I need to adjust my Howa a mere 7,971 clicks up with a drop of just 934m.

    Easy.

    Yup, no sweat

If you get a custom rail with a 30 degree slope, it should make dialling an option, or else you can just use this "off scope" type holdover some of these guys talk about....

Ask your local field artillery battery VC.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

.375 Cheytac 3km Shot, 1 Metre square target with Blaze Target Flash - YouTube
I was present when this was shot. Just to give you an idea of how hard it is to shoot at those sort of distances, we had a minor cold front come through.
The 2 degree temperature change it brought, we estimated changed the verticle point of impact by 8 metres.
Windage wasn't a problem but verticle definitely was.
And yes shot first thing in the morning to try to minimise the wind.

    Good shooting there Muz

Conditions & area you are shooting are critical.

Finding decent places to shoot ELR is extremely difficult

What projectiles etc were you using ?

It was a good day for it Muzr, took quite a bit of organizing to do it, not many people out there would have a riser rail that gives them a 2.2km zero, I'll have to get some more footage of the other hits posted to prove it wasn't a one off fluke

I must get a photo of Tony's riser and post it. It definitely makes a 20moa taper seem puny!

    1MOA at 100 yards is still 1MOA at 3300yards ...
