I realise there is less wind and distance but its still a small target out past 1200 to 1600 yards what do you fullas reckon could just be a waste or projectiles..................but if you hit it!!
Before I started longer range shooting maybe I would of believed the story.....
Cam was hitting your 6 inch gong at 1100 on Saturday, which is lets say half moa..... but comparing it two this range is crazy mate, id say it would be comparable only two hitting a 2 inch gong at 2000yards in 20mph of wind.......aint going two happen.
also important two note as well as the scope set up.....the platform he was using is rather average as Greg mentioned mate

One of the cheytac derrivatives from memory. Red used the savage. Had scoring hits out to one mile. Was a good weekend. Loved the cross country navigate/shoot day

Just made some quick Calcs Neckshot, it's about the same as you hitting a 24" square target at 2350 yards with your 260ai

About the same wind, elevation & speed ....close enough ...

Nice ! According to iStrelok, for the target at 3,600 yards / 3,290m I need to adjust my Howa a mere 7,971 clicks up with a drop of just 934m.

    Easy.
