    long time reading first time posting

    Hi everyone

    I've been reading many post on her for quit a while now and have found it to be very helpful. I got into hunting a few years ago and absolutely love it, I started of with possum shooting and now that's lead me to deer stalking.

    My other interest are fishing and spearfishing.

    So just saying hi from Whangaparaoa

    hi Mike Nice to have you on board. Whangaparaoa be built up these days. Still it's close to some good areas. Topuni forest (of its still there) , thru Oneriri Rd, Kaiwaka was a great place to sneak into with the dogs after pigs back yonder.
    Only tried spear fishing a few times, that's an awesome hunting skill in a alien environment. Hat off to you on that one. Look forward to seeing a few posts.

    yes there's plenty of places to try your like, I find the best time the evening with a out going tide.

    I normally go to Whirinaki forest and hit the bull ring. its abit harder with the fuel prices now

    Welcome Mike, hunting can certainly get a hold of you. I started on rabbits then ducks and then pigs and deer, its a great hobby that feeds the family.

    You will get into reloading next.
