Something like this would be good. Maybe thread to your sternum strap instead of belt for quick access. The long neck straps just cause the camera to swing about and get in the way for me. Can get them with a raincoat a bit like a pack cover. If the going is tricky pop into the top of your pack. Can't show the set up for the FZ70 because one of the daughters has borrowed it.

This was good with interchangeable lenses.

Need to get something for the newer gear. Relative terms as the newer stuff is 8 years old when I bought the Olympus in '79.

Figured out a way to attach this to the M4/3 cameras and change it to a 1:1.28 f-stop in the process.

There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

Bridge camera......Depending on size.....Get a click clack plastic container with a pillow case/slip wrapped around camera.

DSLR camera........Depending on size.....Much the same, for camera and lenses.....and wrapped up in plastic rubbish bag....just be aware of condensation?

I keep my camera stuff in a seperate day bag pack wrapped around with a bit of clothing for protection if day hunting. In helicopter travel i hand carry it....Don't want to get it crushed.
