Bit of bread mix to make fresh flat bread, some Mexican spices and a few cherry toms and an onion.

Deer heart chopped up, fried off with onions and spices, fresh flatbread cooked on a hot rock by the fire, bit of cheese from the lunch stash

Cooked this for a mate after he shot his first deer with a load of fresh watercress from the stream next to said dead deer, reckon it's the best food he's eaten. Meat tastes best when you've earned it.

Camp oven. Brown an onion and sheep shoulder chops. Add chopped carrot. Biff in a tin of peas (I like the minted ones) and maybe a bit more water. Simmer an hour or more. For the last wee while put in an instant gravy mix and water to suit. Its cooked when meat falls of the bones. Eat with instant mashed spud.
