Thread: 10/22 stock

Have been thinking I might make my own stock for the 10/22 being a leftie I'm using a ambidextrous stock...know 10/22 aren't the most accurate rifle etc but figure a 22 is a good place to start.

Anyone tried this before? Done a quick search and couldn't find much. Got a nice slab of totara that looks a likely candidate. The archangel is a bit too 'tactikool' but like the look of some of the revolution laminate jobs. Would still be an a cat so no pistol grip but a more vertical grip would be nice.

Can see this project taking a while but what the heck if it works I might just do one for the cz455 in 17hmr.

Plan at the moment to draw it out and jigsaw the blank out then get cranking with the files and sandpaper. Got a factory stock to get magwell trigger guard dimension from but if anyone has tried this pictures would be great
