My X-Bolt .223rem (near new) has "Browning Arms Company, Morgan, Utah Made in Japan/Miroku" stamped on the barrel. I think the ties are pretty close.

Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
Mine IS better than yours It’s made in Belgium
It's all fun and games till Darthvader comes along
I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.
Shot my ladder today, mixed results the small based dies fixed the hard extraction issue like a charm
My best group was 45.5gn at .8" I didn't get any pressure signs even at book max so i think i will try loading a few higher again to see if i can find a higher node than the 45.5gn one
The 46.5gn group had 1 round that was 200fps slower so i have to wonder if i made a whoopsie with the charge weight.
Worst case the 45.5gn group is more than adequate.
Happy to have sorted the hard extraction issue.
Will get some more rounds loaded up next week.

1" = more than fine out to 400 yards..you have said its not going to be a barrel stretch rifle.in post #2..... be happy with it.... by all means do your tootoo with seating depth thing from there ,but sticking with the 45.5 isnt a daft idea long term.

Manufacturing transferred to Miruku and Japan after exit from Belgium. Miruku got joint marketing rights outside of the US and possibly some other traditional browning markets.

Another afternoon at the lead desk, have loaded up a new ladder.
3 @ 45.5gn which was by far the best group in the previous ladder.
Then i worked my way up from 47.2gn to 48gn in .2gn increments.
Book max is 47gn and my velocity is pretty much in line with adi load data, but with no pressure signs I'm happy to look for a faster accuracy node.
If i don't find 1 the 45.5gn node is still an adequate 0-300y load there is also merit in the 46gn load that had a 5fps S.D but shot a 1.8" 3 shot group, i could tutu the seating depth of the 46gn load to tune it, will wait and see what the new ladder brings.
Probably won't get out to shoot it till mid week next week unfortunately due to work commitments.
