    Kid size shooter

So this build started in my thoughts a few years ago.
I was givin a single shot annie for my kid to use.
When i shifted houses I realised that I had lost the extractor....

I put the word out on here and got a PM from a member on here who said "yup ive got one, but there's a catch......

So a couple of chats on the phone and I chuck the family in the car to go meet Andrew 7mmSaum in hastings.
He hand me two more complete rifles and meets my son and wife and we end up on our way.

So now I have two identical rifles.
From there I figure I could fit one to my
7/8 year old and he can move into the bigger rifle as he goes.

So this project was 24 hours or so and im pretty happy with it..
    My son is grinning.
Few pics of this wee shoota

Its 775mm long anf the LOP is about 1.5 inches too long for him do he can continue to grow like a weed and still use it.

The wrist area is about a third less diameter from stock.

Crown was a dodgy setup by myself on an old lathe in the corner of the workshop

The only work I could not do was refit the foresight but that got taken care of quick smart by a local gunsmith.

Was a fun little project and hopefully it shoots straight enough for a bunny still

I like the stock. Sunlight really helps show off the wood to best effect.

This is a Gecado single shot I cut down for my son when he was small years ago. I fitted a Lyman receiver sight that has since been ratted for another .22. It shot really well in spite of a rough patch in the chamber and the trigger is half decent. My grand son has also out grown it but I keep it just the same.
