Recently, I noted a modified scissors car jack Name: scissors car jack.jpg
Views: 700
Size: 137.3 KB being used as a rifle bench rest. The upper "bit" upon which the car rests had been modified by adding a swiveling padded rest to hold the rifle and avoid scratching..As there was no heavy weight resting on the jack, the height adjustment was able to be made just by the fingers,...a small crank could even be added to make winding easier.
