Yeah I agree with that.
I use to use two 9m snatch straps plus winch if I needed extra distance for retrieving my boat over soft sand.
Found it better just to use the snatch straps and a couple of 9ton tie downs linked up and attached to the tow bar. Jockey wheel on the boat and tow it up the beach to somewhere suitable to them hook it up to the truck.
