What does silver wattle good for?

Does anyone knows if wattle is good for anything other than firewood? Chopping block-bow limbs-wood turning? Got a big wattle tree on a fence line that needs chopping up and I thought ask before cutting it up into pennies.
Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.

I had a wee block of them (pruned straight barrels) , I never seen them mature , but I'm sure they Veneer it . I kept some sections of trees I thinned , they all split real bad , even the real hard heart timber .

Tassie blackwood is the most prized wattle for timber, veneer and turning. Silver wattle is yellowish with black flecks and reasonably hard. Chopping blocks could be a good use but the crafty could possibly make a small table or something from it, would be a labour of love as it takes a long time to dry and the sapwood is a bit doughy.
Unless the bole is around half a metre in diameter dont expect to get much useable wood for cabinetry out of it. It is of course excellent firewood though.

Thanks for the info guys. Will give the chopping blocks a try and turn the rest into firewood. @Marty Henry it's a big tree but its not worth milling. Borrowed a portable mill a few years ago to cut up some of the pine from our place. It's bloody hard work on your own.

I gathered some young trees for stick shanks ... if there is any borer in any wood within a mile, the borers will get it ... !!
