Guess that’s makes them really really valuable now.
Haha, so technically you didn't do the 'entering the info incorrectly' thing and it isn't your problem!

Only 236,400 licence holders to go. The enormity of the task starts to become clear doesn't it! Or, at an average of 4 firearms per licence holder, 945,600 firearms. And I'd say that the average of 4 so far is a lot lighter than the overall average.

I hear so much anecdotal evidence of people that didn't hand in during the confiscation and don't plan on registering all/any of their toys. I don't know how much of it is just them letting off steam or actual intensions. Strangely enough that is exactly the same as I heard when I was living in OZ in the late 90's after the Port Arthur shooting.

Wait till the big collections come in, shit I’d be on the phone all day, and I’m only a little guy, a mate of mine has over 300 to register, another has about 100. If I have to go through the grief, I’ll need a support person on the end of the phone punching the buttons. I’ll have to remember my hearing aids and keep my phone charging and not get grumpy

Yes the really big hoards are yet too come

And they will mostly be ring in and do them one at a time because they aren't cookie cutter guns

Recently talked to a guy helping out a friend and thinks the data base will crack 1000

When you sell one can you go in and edit your rifles on the register to reflect the sale and to say its no longer yours?

They are claiming it's already passed 30000. Although imho that's pretty low uptake. At an average of about 5 guns per LFO that's only 600ish users out of 250000.

Your math is not correct but still fairly poor
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Forgot a pesky '0' on the end hey? Politician much haha. 30,000 individual entries at an average of 5 per licence holder = 6000...

Leave pass stamped... It's quite interesting the numbers though, the amount of people who report issues of various levels vs those that go straight through definitely doesn't make me want to rush in thats for sure. We will all have to jump at some stage even if it's just for renewal but the last few weeks before the roll out period ends I expect will be madness.
