Both, I notified with purchasers details and then purchaser has to confirm.

Ditto on that mate!!
I have several guns registered, all comply (2)with our “new” gun laws….. Three(3) of them did not,so I took them out of the country,…. That is another clusterf&$k of a story ,but I had/have all the paperwork pertaining to where they were purchased(states)shipped by me with my personal luggage etc….. produced all the same paperwork when I took them out before they had a chance to destroy them.
I’m now dealing (and have decided now I’m not going to)with several emails asking me where those Gun’s are ????They have the paperwork ( yup,I sent them copies) of when they cane in and when they departed ….. they are wasting there tine and my tine is cheap ….. but you can only vest the drum for so long,,,
Geeze I registered my firearms by phone, cannot access my Realme, I have two of the, so that’s confusing. Have not got a list from the register of what I registered, but now have just presented to the AO 40 pages of bull shite to renew my licence and now have to verify my list to the AO and get it signed
Talk about easy, it’s certainly is not!
Currently been waiting 1 and a half hours. Had time to dig through there website and write a complaint and create a real me account. Turns out real me accounts need processed, so that kills that idea... Useless barstards [emoji1751]

Tried to ring today, as the message that "we are busier than normal" was played decided will try another day.
Funny how they can be busier than normal when they keep saying there are only 245,000 licensed firearms owners and most will only rarely need to interact with the firearms agency and everything is working fine and normally - and everyone who needs to contact them is reporting that every time they try it's busier than normal and there are extended wait times?
Maybe they either need more staff or less reasons for people to interact with them?
It's a bureaucratic empire that exists, and must to be fed
How do they manage backlogs?
Simple - grow the bureaucracy, and compound the costs.
If that particular empire didn't exist, there would be no need to interact with it.
Cut the head off the snake and let it die.
Another 30 minutes waiting with no service, 8.30- 9.00 am, think it's time they extended the hours to meet demand.
I received a reply to the email I sent, stating registry can’t do their thing via email ‘due to security concerns’. The acting supervisor suggested I try registering online (does not work for me) or to phone the 0800 number I have tried multiple times without success. I did however receive an apology for (expected) extended wait times.
Letters to Nicole, our local MP and Min of Police about to be penned. Bloody hopeless!
Emails sent.
I got the "unfinished business" email. I waited 40min onnthe line this morning. The issue was the dealer I bought a new rifle off a year and a half ago, which triggered my registration, first sent a rifle with a diff serial number to the paperwork..returned it same day, correct rifle arrived 2 days later. They thought I had both, one not registered. Nope. Easily sorted so far. But i didn't appreciate the mandatory legally required directions on how to safely access the rifle.Inhad to go check the SN on. They don't need to baby us!
