    Your own shooting range??

I can't say that I've ever watched anything from this presenter (???) but while wasting some time today I chanced upon a listing for a scheduled TV program on the BRAVO channel, 9:30pm this evening.
It's described as (presenter) meets a family in Oklahoma who have bought a plot of land to clear so that their nine-year old daughter has her own shooting range.
    Lucky girl. Way to go!!
Could be an interesting watch, depending on the slant of the presenter.
Given the current shenanigans for range certification in NZ at the moment, I don't see something like that as being viable, for now.
Who knows: post election, things could change?

Only in Dannevirke would you see square bullets.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

James Puckle invented the idea back in the 1600s round shot to be used for christians, square shot against infidels, and his gun had chambers to suit both but only a cylindrical barrel.
How he came up with the concept of such "personalized projectiles" has always perplexed me

That is probably the most obscure factoid I've read on this site

It is well known that square projectiles are completely unaffected by cross wind, unfortunately the extreme variations in MV that they suffer means that elevation is always a gamble.
