    yes and work OK with steel if you do your bit. I have a U/O 20ga which I am not selling but want to try a semi

    Thanks but at this point I think will be either the Benelli or Beretta Just need to find one of each to have a actual look at, and shoulder. Think I might send the distributor an email and see if they have demo guns they could send to my local for a look

    Unfortunately we do not have a 20ga upland or lite as demo/show stock.

    We do have the following in stock now

    Benelli m2 synthetic 20ga 28”
    Beretta Lite 20ga max 5 28” x 1
    Beretta lite 20ga synthetic 26” x 1

    We have been slammed with 20ga purchases this year.

    This late in the purchasing cycle, most of our guns are already with stores and we won’t have another shipment prior to opening ( I can confirm tomorrow) we have no upland 20ga left (we had about 17 and they went in a flash!) I’ll see which stores these went to and If they would still have them. Then it’s up to the store if they are happy to sell it to your local

    @mcche171
    Thanks for the reply. I am not in a massive rush as I already have a 687 20ga I normally use. And failing that a heavy old 725 12g if things get desperate
    Just hope to actually have a look at one before committing rather than buying sight unseen especially as I have not owned a semi before. The sound like they have been a very popular model.
    I believe I know where there is one but seeing it in person will involve a 10 hour drive

    The m2 20g is the ducks nuts. I simply can't own one as my mate drives the same make, year, and model car as me, and owns a m2 20g. Can't have that!

    Went to my local hunting and fishing and............................................... .......they seemed totally disinterested in selling me anything.

    Had a try with a Unico 12ga but its big and heavy and yuk. Asked salesman re 20ga semis "Nope we have neither and no 20g semis at all" and wandered off........these are not cheap semis so I would have thought.
    I never used a 20g, always 12g, up and down mostly, for now semi auto is not on my list, but pump action (movies). but recently I found maybe 20g is good choose for me as small hunter. Question is how difficult to buy from another country and import to NZ since I knew for every FAL holders can import legitimate ammo and FA from overseas. I like old guns, spring field, K98 and so on. So, anybody has experience of doing this DIY?
