    Help . Lol I'm not very savvy on the shotgun scene could someone advise me on a good all round semi? Budget upto $1200 area cheers guys

    brand matters not a hoot...as long as it cycles reliably gun fit is way more important...there have been a couple of older remington 1100s for sale on here that a fella could do a hell of a lot worse than own.....you dont need 3 or 3.5 inch shells to kill waterfowl....yeah nice if targeting geese or on big open water,but the 2 3/4" loads out now do just fine.

    For a reliable lower end priced semi shotgun I would look at the Stoeger M3000 or for a touch more, the Franchi Affinity.

    A second hand benelli M1 or M2 would be around that sort of $$$

    Wont see them on trademe anymore though
