Cambo, the 'working dog' ones are standard chaff bag size 112 x 56 ... I cannot remember the name of the wool buyer but it is on the corner of Orchard and Maraekakaho Road opposite the sale yards and Wrightsons...

I know the place. I grew up in Hastings. I might get the olds to have a look for me.

I'll try the straw option first and see how that works out and when they stop being so stupid I'll get them something else.

I like to have the sacks in the dog crate for when we get back to the ute, cold and, well, pretty damn cold sometimes...

If they are chewers pea straw would be the go, anything else could become a chewing hazard. I know someone who lost a pup recently due to the pup chewing something that contained nylon line, then the vet opened the pup up, it was all entangled through her bowels, to pull it out would have cut her into a million pieces. I'd go straw or nothing at all in the kennel boxes

Yep, pup was Australia bound too!

Large heavy sack from Wrightsons ,shove 3 Wharehouse pillows in it & stitch the end closed.
2nd option ,a fleece throw from Beds R US , Fold in half stuff 3 pillows in it & stitch it up.

I got a larger Lab & needs something under him to sleep on .Vets orders after a consult 1 Sunday
A $30 dog bed is a lot cheaper .

Got some peas straw today and stuffed a heap into their kennel.

We'll see how long this stuff lasts.
