About LinkBacksi have always had a preference for pointing breeds, but for your situation, i would say get a labrador from true working bloodlines,not a heavy type,athletic.they are a great alround dog,easy to train and great characters.get one from the right bloodlines ,don't sucumb to puppy appeal.
