Mostly the same general principles as the blueprint but on my own schedule. Focussing a lot more on waterfowl this time to have a more advanced dog on retrieving hopefully. With Sako I focussed a lot more on big game like the blueprint which is pretty easy in comparison I reckon. First time trying to do what i’m doing with him, so learning more and more as I go.

Deer number 5 for the young hound. Starting to get the hang of what it’s all about. Tracked me a stag after the shot a couple weeks ago that would have been damn hard to find without him. Also got onto his first few ducks during the season but we kept it minimal as i’m still busy working his directional and blind retrieve training etc in that department. Into it full time next season.

Tine had his first opening weekend over the last couple of days. I have been really slack with training over the last 6 months but the work we did prior coupled with his keenness and drive did the trick. He did a mountain of work finding many ducks in the long grass and waters edge.
