Yes he is the grandson of the first black & white WGP ever in NZ and the one of the last pups we ever breed before closed down our breeding kennels. unfortunately he is no long alive as he did not like maoris and he bite a cop when I was walk out from a hunting trip and you can guess what happen!

Must be in the Gene's. Jazz is of a similar disposition, actually she doesn't like any strangers at all, unless I'm there. We keep her under watch and command at all, well most times.

The original Wires that Jack Dawson imported had a bit of snap/sharpness to them. I new a couple of them. I’m guessing that it has prevailed in those strains that haven’t benefitted from imported outcrosses. Could be wrong though, ‘cos I know that at least one more recent import left some sharp ones.

My one is really good with strangers and children. Having said that, she’s still a dog so I keep an eye out and never trust her 100%. You just never know. I would never say never.

Jazz is my 3rd wire. Shot my 1st at 2.5yrs old as it was uncontrollable and dangerous around my kids. She thought she was the Alpha female, I had her from a pup as well. The breeder replaced the bitch with my 2nd (May), Bloody great hunting dog and Guard dog. I had to put her down at 12.5yrs as She was not well. Jazz is from a completely different line. 110% trust her around my family. She just has a high protection attitude of what she thinks is hers i.e. Car, House, my Family, which is handy in my line of work.
