What sort of difference would there be in noise with one of these compared to the standard end cap configuration?

We don't have db numbers yet, but it definitely is a little bit louder for the shooter, the less baffles used the louder it gets.

as far as I understand the less baffles used the more effective the brake is too ?

assume this would also require the suppressor to be timed so the brake ports are horizontal as well ?

looks great.....I may just have to upgrade

Timing is not required, there are 3 ports around the circumference, 9 ports in total, so it doesn’t matter where they end up.

My initial suspicions were that the recoil reduction would improve with removing baffles, but im not so sure now, the jet blast of gasses exiting the muzzle of the suppressor is probably no different no matter how many baffles are installed. If the ports were angled back, id definitely think the less baffles used the greater the recoil reduction.

We will test this out as soon as we can.

To clarify the above post, testing has been preformed on this product, we just haven’t done a recoil comparison between different number of baffles used.

If it is like the A-tech H2 it is louder for the shooter but similar if recorded at 25m forward

    Pardon my ignorance.

What exactly does this do over a normal DPT suppressor (have one - love it !!) ?

Makes the whole thing louder again but further reduces recoil?
