    Thanks @duckdog I've seen those, massive price difference between the two p-14s, they look similar condition in the limited pics?

    I'm also wary of these pistols being used in competition shooting and someone may or may not have messed with the trigger etc. I have found a brand witness 1911 custom in 9mm that I'm going to enquire about tomorrow.

    Been tossing up caliber and I'm pretty sure I'll shoot it more it ammo is cheap, leaning towards 9mm.

    @ishoot10s: "single stack is for girls" — i sometimes miss the Production and Standard double-stacks but multiple mag changes in a medium stage is so much fun.
    @duckdog: dammit, that Para 1911 is tempting…
    @Rated M for Magnum: the Tanfoglio Witness Custom 1911 in 9mm should be a fine choice — cost of reloading for .45 was getting out of hand so am now running a Kimber Target II in 9mm (didn't read the fine print and discovered the capacity was 9+1 AH WELL, it's still a 1911). recommend you buy as many spare mags as you can afford.

    Paras are pretty average at best, amazed that hasn't already been said, standard is dead anyway. sorry @Ozzy if you want to be compeditive. yo can get 10rd 9mm 1911 mags. If you want to shoot IPSC classic 9mm minor is the way to go

    I think there's a new SR1911 in the display at SAI.
